Bureau of Meteorology Radar Viewer Version 1.0
This little program will enable a user to view the latest radar image for a location of their choice – without having to go to the weather websites.
This version does not do looped images due to the complexity of coding such a thing in VB.net. If the app turns out to be popular, I will create all the layers and loops required to display multiple images.
This app comes with the following features,
- Rain Radar Images of all New South Wales and Victorian sites
- Doppler Wind Images of all available New South Wales and Victorian Sites
- National Radar Image
- Auto Refresh
- no need to install – simply run from anywhere via the .exe
This build auto refreshes – which means that you can leave it running and it will always display the latest information. I am planning on expanding this nationally a bit later on.

National Frequency Database Rollout - Stage 2
I have worked on this project for a while and its well under way now. Currently you`ll find that frequency tables are displayed by State then you need to go through the state to find what you are looking for. This is about to change.
The Database rollout means that you simply click the type of service you are looking for, and you will then be able to see all the information on one screen.
Rollout is slow - Stage 2 is all about adding information manually into the database. A process which will take its time but once complete, it will be well worth it.
To see what has been added to date use the navigation on the right. You need to be registered on the forums to view the database. You can also submit your own if you like.
